1February 23rd, 2013 - Wells Motorsports concluded their insanely busy speed weeks 2013 on Saturday night at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) with a $10,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model event. With forty-six entries in the pits he advanced to a fourth place finish in the second heat race to lock into the fifteenth starting spot for the 50 lap finale. He raced around mid-pack for the duration of the feature before crossing the finish line in the twelfth position.

Eric enjoyed a successful outing during speed weeks and ended it sixth in the overall WoO standings and leading the WoO Rookie of the Year standings. Full results from the event and complete series' standings are available at www.WoOLMS.com.

February 22nd, 2013 - Eric carried his recent momentum into Friday night's $10,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model event at Volusia Speedway 1Park (Barberville, Florida). The $10,000-to-win event drew fifty-one Super Late Models the facility, and Eric started the night by setting fast time in his group and fast time overall with a lap of 16.164 seconds around the 1/2 mile oval. He went on to win the first heat race to lock into the redraw for the feature, where he received the second starting spot alongside Darrell Lanigan.

Eric jumped to the lead at the drop of the green flag and paced the first ten laps of the feature before Billy Moyer took over the top spot. Over the remainder of the event Wells began to battle the handle on his car and would cross the finish line in the sixth position. Full results from the event are available at www.WoOLMS.com.

1February 21st, 2013 - Even though it wasn't the finish that he wanted Eric Wells enjoyed a great outing on Thursday evening during the 42nd Annual UNOH DIRTCar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida).

The $10,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model event attracted a field of fifty-three entries to the 1/2 mile oval, and in time trials Wells recorded the fastest time in his group to earn the pole for the first heat race. He went on to blaze to the heat race win over Rick Eckert, which transferred him to the feature's redraw. In the redraw he was the recipient of the second starting spot for the feature alongside pole-sitter, Dennis Erb Jr. As the race went green Wells jumped to the lead and would hold the top spot for first thirty-six circuits before Scott Bloomquist slipped past for the lead on lap 37. Over the remainder of the event Eric staged a great battle with Rick Eckert and Shane Clanton before crossing the finish line in fourth. He earned WoO Rookie of the Race honors for his performance. February 20th, 2013 - Wells Motorsports participated in a $10,000-to-win, UMP DIRTCar Super Late Model event at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) 1on Wednesday night. The third round of the 42nd Annual UNOH DIRTCar Nationals drew a field of fifty-five Super Late Models to the 1/2 mile oval. Eric qualified second fastest in his group to earn the third starting spot for his heat race, but he slipped back in the field to a fifth place finish. In his b-main he came up one spot short of a transfer to the feature. Despite not making the main event he qualified for the Bulrush Dash for non-qualifiers. February 19th, 2013 - A much-needed day away from racing action on Monday rewarded the team with their best finish of the season on Tuesday night as Eric took part in the second round of the 42nd Annual UNOH DIRTCar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida).

Forty-seven Super Late Models registered for war atop the 1/2 mile oval, and after qualifying second fastest in his group in qualifications Wells advanced from the third starting spot to a second place finish in his heat race to lock into the ninth starting spot for the $7,000-to-win, 30 lap feature. As the finale went green Eric began racing his way forward through the pack in his #18 Wells Motorsports/Bloomquist/Roush Yates Racing Engine Super Late Model, and when the checkered flag dropped he was credited with a second place finish behind race winner, Josh Richards. February 17th, 2013 - Eric took part in the final round of the Bubba Army Winter 1Nationals at Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida) on Sunday evening, which posted a $20,000 winner's check. A third place finish in the second heat locked him into the tenth starting spot for the 75 lap feature. Wells raced in the top ten early in the feature before tire issues pushed him back to a fourteenth place finish in the final rundown. Full results from the event are available at www.WoOLMS.com.

1February 16th, 2013 - On Saturday evening Eric Wells entered the second round of the Bubba Army Winter Nationals at Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida). With a $10,000 top prize on the line for the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Models Wells finished fourth in his heat race to lock into the fifteenth starting spot for the 50 lap feature. Bad luck struck Wells early in the feature as he was working his way through the field, when he received contact from another competitors, which resulted in terminal rear-end damage that brought his night to an early end in the 22nd position. February 15th, 2013 - After enjoying a few days away from the track Eric Wells resumed his 12013 Speedweeks venture on Friday night with the first of three World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model events at Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida). Thirty-nine Super Late Models took part in the $7,000-to-win event, and after missing the transfer to the feature by one spot in heat race action Wells charged to a dominant win in his b-main to lock into the seventeenth starting spot for the 35 lap feature. 1February 9th, 2013 - Saturday night saw Eric taking part in the second round of the 2nd Annual Winter Freeze at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) as the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Models sanctioned the $10,000-to-win event. Time trials found Wells registering the tenth fastest time to earn the third starting spot for the second heat race. He recorded a fourth place finish to lock into the fourteenth starting spot for the 50 lap finale. In the main event Wells quickly found his way into the top ten before advancing to a fifth place finish behind race winner, Josh Richards, Shane Clanton, Mike Marlar, and Dale McDowell. February 8th, 2013 - Eric Wells and Wells Motorsports opened their 2013 season on Friday night at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) as he began his pursuit of the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model Series 1Rookie of the Year title. The $8,000-to-win event drew thirty-nine Super Late Models to the 1/3 mile oval, and after qualifying fifth fastest in time trials he started second in the first heat race. He led the opening laps of the heat before slipping to the third spot. A late-race restart saw Scott James make heavy contact with Wells, which caused him to spin from contention with heavy damage. The team worked diligently to repair the car for the b-main, where Wells started on the tail. With the top three cars transferring to the feature Eric raced to a third place finish, which locked him into the twenty-first starting spot for the 40 lap feature.

In the main event he raced his way to as high as the eighth position before crossing the finish line in tenth. Full results from the event are available at www.WoOLMS.com.
