October 26th, 2013 - Wells Motorsports participated in the annual Fall 50 on Saturday night at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) as a $5,000 winner's check was posted for the unsanctioned event.

Twenty-six Super Late Models took to the famed, 1/2 mile oval, and heat race action found Wells initially slated to start in the 6th position, but after an altercation on the initial start involving a pair of drivers starting in front of him, Wells soon found himself starting outside front row. He would go on to storm to the heat race win, which positioned him starting on the pole for the main event. During the course of the 50 lap finale Eric raced at the front of the pack throughout the chaotic event before crossing the finish line in the 3rd position behind race winner, Rod Conley, and Mike Jewel.
