1September 21st, 2013 - Eric Wells made the first trip of his career to Berlin Raceway (Berlin, Michigan) over the weekend for the 2nd Annual Keyser Manufacturing Down 'N Dirty 100 presented by NAPA Auto Parts. The 7/16 mile oval, which typically operates as a paved oval, was covered in dirt for the event.

Mother Nature forced the originally slated $20,000-to-win feature for Friday and Saturday to be condensed into a single $15,000-to-win race on Saturday evening. Struggles in time trials and heat race action forced Eric to a b-main, where he advanced to a 3rd place finish to lock into the 22nd starting spot for the feature.

During the course of the 75 lap finale Wells advanced ten spots on his way to a 12th place finish.

Wells is seventh in the latest series standings and continues to lead the Rookie of the Year points. Full results from the event and complete series' standings are available at www.WoOLMS.com.

1September 14th, 2013 - After a much-needed week away from the track Wells Motorsports rejoined the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Models for a pair of $10,000-to-win events over the weekend in Illinois and Missouri.

The current, WoO Rookie of the Year point's leader, Wells opened the weekend with his first-ever trip to Belle Clair Speedway (Belleville, Illinois). A strong field of 47 entries were in action at the 1/5 mile oval, and a 3rd place finish in his heat race locked Eric into the 12th starting spot for the 50 lap feature. He raced around mid-pack throughout the event befor efinishing in the 14th position.

Saturday night competition sent the tour to Federated Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri) for a 55 lap program at the 1/3 mile, clay oval. Preliminary action would prove to be unkind for Wells as he was forced to utilize a series' provisional to start the main event in the 23rd starting spot. Despite starting on the tail of the field Wells enjoyed a great run in the main event as he advanced twelve spots to finish 11th.

Wells is sixth in the latest series standings and continues to lead the Rookie of the Year points. Full results from the event and complete series' standings are available at www.WoOLMS.com.

1September 2nd, 2013 - Eric Wells began a busy Labor Day weekend on Thursday night with a trip to West Virginia Motor Speedway (Mineral Wells, West Virginia) as the American Dirt Racing Association (ADRA) sanctioned a $4,000-to-win event at the 4/10 mile oval.

Twenty-eight entries entered the program, and the night started on a strong note as Eric earned the 3rd starting spot for the feature via preliminary action. Unfortunately fuel pressure issues plagued him once again early in the finale as he was forced to retire to a 19th place finish. Full results are available at www.DirtOnDirt.com.

Friday night's program was sanctioned by the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Models as a $10,000 top prize was posted. With 23 entries on hand Wells claimed a dominant win in his heat race to earn a spot in the redraw for the feature. After receiving the 4th starting spot for the feature Wells raced in the top five for the first half of the event before mechanical problems late in the event forced Eric pitside under a caution flag. He rejoined the tail of the field before recording a 14th place finish.

Saturday evening found Eric entering his first-ever event at the historic Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania), where the WoO sanctioned an $8,000-to-win race at the 1/2 mile oval. Thirty-five competitors filled the pit area, and a 2nd place finish in his heat race sent Wells to the redraw for the feature, where he was the recipient of the 3rd starting spot for the 40 lap feature. Eric had high hopes for the feature, but he would battle the handle on his entry as he faded to an 18th place finish.

The 15th Annual National Open was held at Selinsgrove Speedway on Sunday evening, which posted a $10,000 winner's check. For the second straight night Eric raced to a 2nd place finish in his heat race to move onto the pole position for the 50 lap finale. Early in the feature he ran in the 2nd spot behind race leader, Rick Eckert. However, as the race progressed he found himself sliding backwards, and would ultimately cross the finish line in the 11th spot.

Wells is sixth in the latest series standings and continues to lead the Rookie of the Year points. Full results from the event and complete series' standings are available at www.WoOLMS.com.
