1April 26th, 2014 - Eric Wells was back on the road with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model tour over the weekend as he competed in the annual Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois).

Thirty-six entries registered for battle in the event, and after missing the transfer into the main event via heat race action on Friday night, Wells was left to run a b-main on Saturday.

The b-main found him failing to reach a transfer spot to the feature, and as a result he was forced to utilize a Series Provisional to start the main event in the 23rd spot. Despite starting deep in the field Wells advanced nine positions to record a fourteenth place finish by the time that the checkered flag had dropped on the 100 lap event.

1April 19th, 2014 - With a weekend off from the ultra-competitive World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series, the team entered a trio of events in their home state with Ray Cook's Old Man's Garage (OMG) Spring Nationals presented by Schaeffer's Oil tour.

The weekend began close to home on Thursday evening with a $4,000-to-win to event at 201 Speedway (Sitka, Kentucky). Thirty-two Super Late Model filled the pit area, and with the top eight qualifiers locking into the feature Wells fail just short of the mark, and had to run a b-main. Eric charged from third to pick up the win in his b-main, locking him into the eleventh starting spot for the 40 lap finale. In the feature, Wells advanced to a ninth place finish in the final rundown.

On Friday evening action shifted to Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Kentucky) for another $4,000-to-win event, at the 3/8 mile facility. A talented field of twenty-seven entries were on hand for the program, and with the top eight qualifiers locking into the feature Wells earned the third starting spot on the grid via his efforts. In the 40 lap finale, Eric battled at the front of the back for much of the event before crossing the finish line in second behind race winner Mike Marlar.

Saturday night took the team to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the 38th Annual Spring 50, which drew a stout field of thirty-seven Super Late Models to the 1/2 mile oval for the $5,000-to-win event. After qualifying sixth in his respective group Wells went on win his heat race, earning him the eighth starting spot for the 50 lap feature. In the main event, Eric battled in the top ten early before settling to an eleventh place finish in the final rundown.

1April 12th, 2014 - Mother Nature once again intervened into the 2014 World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model schedule after Friday night's program at Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) was cancelled shortly after time trials began.

As a result the team entered a single event over the weekend as they traveled to the high banks of Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) for a $10,000-to-win, WoO event. With twenty-four Super Late Models on hand, Eric drew the fifth starting spot for the feature after picking up the win in his heat race. In a caution filled main event, Wells survived for a solid fifth place finish at the checkered flag.

1April 5th, 2014 - After Mother Nature forced the scheduled World of Outlaws (WoO) event at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois) to be postponed, the team traveled to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for a $6,000-to-win Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals Series event.

A field of thirty-one Super Late Model competitors converged on the oval. With the top eight qualifiers locking into the feature Wells fail short of mark, and had to run a b-main, where he finished second to lock into the twelfth starting spot for the main event. During the course of the feature, Wells raced around the top ten for much of the event before crossing the finish line in ninth.
