1July 29th, 2014 - Eric traveled to Shawano Speedway (Shawano, Wisconsin) on Tuesday night for a $10,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model event.

Thirty-three entries were in the pits for the program at the 1/2 mile oval, and Wells started his night by qualifying sixth fastest before racing to a third place finish in his heat race. As a result Eric was slated to start twelfth in the 50 lap finale. In the feature he battled just outside the top ten throughout the event, and crossed the finish line in eleventh.

1July 26th, 2014 - The 2014 World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model tour continued for Eric Wells with a trip to the legendary Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the $25,000-to-win, 25th Annual Prairie Dirt Classic.

A string field of sixty Super Late Models converged on the 1/4 mile oval, and Wells started his weekend by qualifying fourteenth fastest in his group during time trials on Friday night. He advanced to a second place finish behind Gregg Satterlee in his heat race, earning him a spot in the redraw for Saturday night's 100 lap finale where he was the recipient of the eighth starting spot. In the feature on Saturday evening, Eric battled amongst the top ten throughout the event before crossing the finish line in tenth.

1July 24th, 2014 - Eric Wells returned to action with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series on Thursday night at Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, Iowa) for a $10,000-to-win program. Twenty-five Super Late Models entered the event, and Eric struggled in preliminary action before using a b-main win to lock into the nineteenth starting spot for the finale. During the course of the feature drove his #18 Wells Motorsports/Rocket Super Late Model to a ninth place finish in the final rundown.

1July 18th, 2014 - The annual Wild West Tour for the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Models opened on Thursday night at Hibbing Raceway (Hibbing, Minnesota) with a $10,000-to-win, 50 lap event. A talented group of forty-three entries took to the clay oval, and after qualifying twelfth fastest in time trials Eric went on to finish fourth in his heat race, which sent him to a b-main, which he won. Via his b-main Wells started eighteenth on the grid for the finale. In the feature Wells raced to a seventeenth place finish in the final rundown.

The team made the trip to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) on Saturday evening for the annual Gopher 50 at the 3/8 mile oval. Saturday night's program was washed away by rain, pushing the event back to Sunday evening. Thirty-one Super Late Models entered the $11,000-to-win event, and a third place finish in his heat race resulted in Wells starting eighth in the feature. During the course of the 50 lap finale Eric raced to a fifth place finish behind race winner, Darrell Lanigan, Morgan Bagley, Tim Fuller, and Rick Eckert.

The team traveled to Brown County Speedway (Aberdeen, South Dakota) on Tuesday evening for another $10,000-to-win program. With twenty-seven Super Late Models entered Eric timed in second overall during qualifications before finishing second in his heat race. As a result he went to the redraw for the 50 lap finale where he was the recipient of the outside-front-row starting spot alongside Darrerll Lanigan. In the feature Lanigan took the lead at the on-set of the event. Wells battled at the front of the pack early on before settling to a ninth place finish in the final rundown.

Friday night found Wells Motorsports pitted at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) for $10,000-to-win event the drew a field of thirty-two WoO Super Late Models. The night started with Wells qualifying fouth in his group during time trials, and later finishing third in heat race action. As a result Eric would start twelfth in the 50 lap main event, and race his way to a solid eighth place finish at the checkered flag.

1July 8th, 2014 - Eric Wells and the Wells Motorsports team entered a UMP Summer Nationals event at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on Tuesday night. The $5,000-to-win program drew a field of thirty-three Super Late Models to the famed 1/2 mile oval. Eric timed in fourth overall in his respective group during qualifications, and later won his preliminary heat race to lock into the third starting spot for the 40 lap feature event. In the finale Wells ran third for much of the event until he slipped under Brian Shirley on the final circuit to secure a second place finish behind race winner, Jason Jameson. Shirley, Kent Robinson, and Justin Rattliff rounded out the top five finishers. Full results from the event are available at www.TheHellTour.com
