1March 29th, 2014 - Eric Wells returned to the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series tour over the weekend, and severe weather forced the cancellation of Friday night's program at Lonestar Speedway (Kilgore, Texas)

As a results the team entered a single event over the weekend, traveling to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) for a $10,000-to-win, WoO event. With thirty-nine Super Late Models on hand Eric was forced to take a WoO provisional to secure the 23rd starting spot in the feature. During the course of the 50 lap feature, Wells charged from deep in the pack to record a solid tenth place finish in the final rundown.

On Friday night a $4,000-to-win event was held as thirty-four Super Late Models registered for battle. With the top eight qualifiers locking into the feature, Eric secured the third starting spot. In the 40 lap feature, Wells recorded a fifth place finish behind race winner Jimmy Owens, Chris Madden, Scott Bloomquist, and Mike Marlar.

Saturday evening saw the winner's purse increased to $10,000 as thirty-two entries coverged on the 4/10 mile oval. Wells posted the second quickest lap in his group during time trials, and went on to pick up the win in his heat race. Eric drew the pole for the 60 lap main event and jumped to the lead when the green flag waved with Chriss Madden and Mark Douglas in tow. Wells began to work lap traffic by lap seven, and as the field neared the halfway mark the top three battled for the lead in traffic. Madden would take the top spot from Wells on lap 22, pushing Wells back to second. Scott Bloomquist took over the second spot just a few circuits later. Eric held off charges fro Billy Ogle Jr. in the final half of the race to finish third behind Madden and Owens. Ogle Jr. and Mike Marlar competed the top five.
