1May 29th, 2016 - Kicking off the busy Memorial Day weekend with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO), Eric Wells traveled to Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio) on Friday night. In a field of thirty-five cars, Wells edged his way into the $10,000-to-win feature with a 4th place finish in his heat. Falling two positions in the 50-lap A-Main, Eric recorded an 18th place finish.

1The following night brought the WoO followers to Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) for the opening night of the two-day Jackpot 100. Posting the fastest time in his group of sixteen cars, Eric went on to place 2nd in his heat behind Chris Ferguson. Wrapping up the three-day stint with the WoO series, Wells secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main on Sunday with a 4th place finish in his heat. Losing two positions in the 60-lap affair, Eric registered an 18th place finish.

1May 14th, 2016 - Competing in the inaugural Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Buckeye Nationals, Eric Wells headed to Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) on Friday night for the two-day event. In a stacked field of forty-nine cars, Wells fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish. Transferring the top two out of the consolation events, Eric cruised to a 15-lap consolation win earning him a 19th place starting spot for the A-Main on Saturday night. 1May 7th, 2016 - Returning with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO), Eric Wells traveled to Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Kentucky) on Friday night for the Kentucky Klassic. Scoring a 3rd place finish in his heat, Eric transferred into the A-Main with an 8th place starting spot. Working his way through the field into the top five, Wells landed a 4th finish behind Shane Clanton, Chris Madden, and Gregg Satterlee with Don O’Neal coming in 5th. (Michael Moats Photo)

1On Saturday Wells headed to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Mountain Outlaw 50. With forty-five cars signed in, Wells edged his way into the feature with a 4th place outing in his heat. Starting in 13th, Eric fell one spot in the 50-lapper recording a 14th place finish.
