April 28, 2018 - Eric Wells made the short trip to 201 Speedway (Sitka, Kentucky) on Saturday night for the $3,000-to-win special. Competing in a field of 20 cars in the 30-lap feature, Wells landed a 3rd place finish behind Zach Dohm and Eddie Carrier Jr. with Brandon Fouts and Jared Hawkins completing the Top-5 finishers.

1April 21, 2018 - Returning with the Schaeffer Oil Spring Nationals Series, Eric Wells was one of 21 cars signed in at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Kentucky) on Friday night for the Spring Showdown. Following the second fastest qualifying time, Wells scored a 4-lap Dash victory locking him on the pole for the opening night feature. Hanging on to a Top-5 finish, Wells dropped three spots to place 4th behind Michael Chilton, Eddie Carrier Jr., and Aaron Ridley with Jason Jameson coming in 5th.

1The following night at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the KOI and Federated Auto Parts Spring 50, Wells locked his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a heat race victory. Starting in 5th, Eric jumped up two spots in the 50-lap affair reeling in a 3rd place finish behind Devin Gilpin and Michael Chilton with Steve Casebolt and Eddie Carrier Jr. completing the Top-5 finishers. 1April 14, 2018 - Friday night found Eric Wells back in action with the Schaeffer Oil Spring Nationals Series at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee). Earning the 3rd-starting position for the feature via preliminary events, Eric overtook race leader Dakotah Knuckles on lap-28 and held the spot for the next six circuits. Losing the lead in the final six laps, Wells held on to a 5th place finish behind Knuckles, Donald McIntosh, Billy Ogle Jr., and Shanon Buckingham. (Michael Moats photo)

1On Saturday night Wells headed to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) for the annual Scott Sexton Memorial. Competing for a $10,052 payday in the feature, Eric dropped two spots in the 52-lap affair to place 10th.
